Fiber Laser Cutting

Fiber Optics Lasers are a completely different technology than CO2 lasers. It develops the laser cutting beam thru solid state devices and at a working frequency that enable the beams energy to be more efficiently coupled to the material. This results in lower wasted energy in the cutting area reducing the heated effect zone and micro cracking. Simply, a better cut with less heat.

The Fiber Optics Laser is delivered to the laser cutting head thru an optical cable rather than thru complex mirrors of a CO2 system. This enables a simpler system with increased accuracy. With new improvements in drive mechanisms and computers, the laser cutting machine can move faster with better accuracy than machines a few years ago.

These factors result in better cut quality, more accurate cuts, and faster performance.

Located in Northern San Diego County, California, LaserFlow operates in a clean and modern 10,000 square foot facility. The design layout of our building allows us to continue to add equipment and workspace to our facility (we’ve got room to grow).
